The 17th of October 2025, began as an ordinary day, full of the usual activities – games in the morning, late breakfast, and passing on to the habit of reading and writing a bit, until I read an email from Mr Rahul Jain, Curator and Chief Coordinator of FOUNDATION FOR CULTURE, ART & LITERATURE, that humbled me beyond words. The email came with an attachment, inviting me as one of the 120 authors/writers the esteemed organisation was inviting for the 2026 Literature Festival to be held in Dibrugarh in February 2026. The festival, codenamed as Dibrulitfest was to attract around 10,000 book enthusiasts. It was like a dream. I couldn't be more grateful.
