The Heart Melts quite naturally

When Nature's fury strikes, it differntiates none-the rich and the poor get hit equally. But it is the poorests among the poor that always suffer most. That has been the story here in Assam too. The rain stopped, the water level receded, and most parts of the areas which were under water some days back are now dry lands though signs of the fury still remains. The rich pulled themselves quickly and rocovered, but the poor are now finding difficult to meet ends even more harder than before. Living in make-shift little huts along roadsides, the women went plucking tea so that they could buy food for their families, while their men try to clean up the muddy deposits left behind by the flood. At times I wonder if they at all belief if God was there. To see their trauma and hardship, one needs to be on ground zero. Everything explains itself without anyone saying a word. Heart melts quite naturally.
